We continuously aim to be best in class and we are looking for an experienced Senior Operational Technology (OT) Architect to join our Service Applications team, that is responsible for the online customer portal, centralized SCADA and service applications connecting to the controllers in a part of turbines in the Siemens Gamesa fleet. The team in Germany consist of 10 highly skilled senior Engineers supporting SCADA operations and managing the OT architecture, network configurations and central SCADA infrastructure setup and operations in collaboration with our Germany based managed IT service providers. Additionally, a team of 10 developers working out of India is responsible for the application layer in close collaboration with the team in Germany.
Your Responsibilities Will IncludeAs our Senior Operational Technology (OT) Architect you will play a central role in our Service Applications team that is responsible to Secure a part of wind farm operational technology (OT) communication access, network, data collection, industrial standards & communications protocols.
With support of our central OT security team, you will learn about ISO/IEC 27001 and IEC 62443 and you will help the team to comply with new regulation like NIS 2.
You will support the Team Lead of Service Applications in Germany by leading the Operational Technology (OT) security strategy, roadmaps and lead the implementation of these.
You will, provide technical leadership for Operational Technology (OT), being a subject matter expert and supporting colleagues in developing sound cyber security architectural solutions. Additionally, you will manage the infrastructure and network setup for the centrally hosted SCADA application in collaboration with the application team in India and the Germany based managed IT service providers.
With your experience, you will translate vulnerabilities and outcomes from cyber security assessments / penetration testing to improve Operational Technology (OT) architectures and designs. Continuous improvement on cyber controls and measures and consequently creation of new cyber security products.

What You Need To Make a Difference
Enthusiasm for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for a positive, and motivated team member who can take the initiative when resolving technical issues and provide a suitable solution to those issues.
The ideal candidate has experience from the wind industry in general.
To be suitable for this role you
Have several years’ experience working with Operational Technology, Industrial Controls Systems, SCADA, PLCs, etc.
Hands on experience in IT/OT Security, Risk Management, Incident Management, Network Engineering, Infrastructure & Application Architecture
Experience from wind industry or alternatively within operational, manufacturing or processing environment (e.g., Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Pharmaceuticals etc.)
Working understanding in a wide range of information security technologies including network hardening, firewall optimization, data backup and restoration, end point security, etc.
Experience in working in a multi-functional team that works across borders
Minimum hold a master’s University degree within STEM disciplines (or equivalent)
Have good personal impact and a clear and open way of communicating
Fluent in English - both spoken and written
Fluent in German - both spoken and written
